Former Chief of Army, Jeneral Tan Sri Md Hashim Hussein and former Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan have called on all relevant agencies to ensure that political violence did not escalate before and after the elections on May 5.

In a statement on Monday, they said they were concerned about the escalating violence over the past few weeks.

“These bombs, Molotov cocktails, arson, wielding of parangs and metal rods are unprecedented in Malaysian election campaigns.

“We are alarmed that the Minister of Home Affairs stated publicly that these happenings would worsen more than a month ago, in what we consider an endorsement of political violence, and that these incidents have indeed occurred....

Apakah Parlimen P152 Kluang, Johor  berjaya dipertahankan oleh BN atau bakal tumbang di tangan calon DAP/PR.

Calon BN ialah Hou Kok Chung dan calon DAP/PR Liew Chin Tong.

Jika dilihat pada sambutan penduduk Kluang, Johor  pada ceramah DAP malam ini amatlah jelas sekali peluang DAP/PR rampas parlimen Kluang amatlah cerah sekali....

Another DAP leader has urged voters to reject PAS in the general election until the party abandons its call for an Islamic state. Kedah DAP committee member S. Neelamekan said the Federal Constitution was clear in that Malaysia was a secular state, adding that the incessant calls by PAS over the implementation of hudud law were “highly disturbing”.

 

He said PAS had been consistent in the type of administration it had been pushing, describing it as “dangerous” to Malaysia. “The only way we can stop this is to stop PAS,” Neelamekan said. “I will certainly not vote for PAS and I urge DAP members and Malaysians to do the same. The party does not deserve our votes,” he said....

Barisan Nasional (BN) Sarawak sendiri mengakui bahawa 11 kerusi Parlimen di negeri itu berada dalam bahaya sekaligus mencerahkan peluang Pakatan Rakyat (PR) melangkah ke Putrajaya pada Pilihan Raya Umum ke-13 (PRU-13), 5 Mei ini.

Calon Pakatan Rakyat Parlimen Gelang Patah, Lim Kit Siang yang baru pulang dari lawatan ke Sabah dan Sarawak menyahut cabaran pengundi di tiga negeri ‘deposit tetap’ BN bagi merealisasikan sasaran memenangi 33 kerusi Parlimen di Sabah, Sarawak dan Johor sebagai pra-syarat untuk rakyat Malaysia melakukan perubahan dengan PR sebagai kerajaan baru menggantikan BN mentadbir Putrajaya.

Katanya, ini adalah sasaran yang tinggi untuk memenangi 33 daripada 83 kerusi Parlimen di tiga negeri ‘deposit tetap’ BN kerana pada PRU 2008 lalu PR hanya memenangi tiga kerusi, satu kerusi di setiap negeri iaitu Bandar Kuching, di Sarawak, Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) dan Bakri (Johor)....

UMNO Titiwangsa has been riddled with problems since 2008 and this problem hasn't had any resolution. Even after the Premier went there to lend support, things still havent changed. UMNO Titiwangsa does not need Chinese and Indian voters....
