Namakanlah apa sahaja sama ada Kabinet Transformasi atau sebarang nama lain, barisan jemaah menteri pasca PRU13 seharusnya adalah pasukan terbaik dan paling mantap untuk memperkasakan semula BN menghadapi PRU14.
Ini kerana tanpa barisan terkuat, sukar bagi kerajaan untuk menangkis serangan pembangkang yang turut membariskan barisan bertenaga bagi mengasak BN yang sudah masuk penggal kedua bertahan tanpa majoriti dua pertiga.
Di pihak rakyat pula, kita semua tertunggu-tunggu, siapakah yang bakal mengisi barisan terkuat itu? Kalangan pemerhati menjangka Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak akan mengumum senarai itu hari ini atau selewat-lewatnya esok....

Chinese representation in the Cabinet, which is set to be unveiled tomorrow, remains a priority for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in drawing up his administrative team.
It is understood that Najib has had several meetings with Barisan Nasional component leaders – including his own senior Umno officials – over this dilemma since MCA had declined to accept any government position after its dismal showing at the GE13.
MCA won seven of the 37 parliament seats it contested and the party EGM last year had resolved that if they did not do as well as the 2008 general election they would not accept any government position....

The 13th Parliament will most likely convene its first session by June, before the fasting month of Ramadan in July, said caretaker Minister in the Prime Minister's department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz. However, he said, it was still uncertain when the swearing-in ceremony for newly minted Members of Parliament (MPs) will take place as the Cabinet had yet to be formed.
“After the Cabinet is formed, only then will we have the swearing-in of MPs. The King's address will also normally be delivered after the ceremony,” he said yesterday. Nazri, who is Padang Rengas MP, said the Parliament has already missed a chance to have a meeting in March and hence, the new session should start soon. He said it was not compulsory for the House to meet three times a year....

If there was a moment after the nail-biting national election on Sunday when Malaysians could envision a respite from five years of political turmoil, it did not last long.
The police warned that Mr. Ibrahim and dozens of other people who spoke at a protest rally in a packed soccer stadium just outside the capital, Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday night could be charged with sedition.
Within hours of the election commission’s announcement early Monday that Prime Minister Najib Razak’s governing National Front coalition had won a majority in Parliament, Anwar Ibrahim, the opposition leader, declared that the voting was rigged, said he would contest the results and called for nationwide protests....

Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim is expected to be sworn in as the Selangor Mentri Besar tomorrow, putting an end to the week-long speculation within Pakatan Rakyat on who would hold the post.
A source close to the Mentri Besar's Office said Khalid would begin his second term as mentri besar after taking his oath before Sultan of Selangor Sultan Shara-fuddin Idris Shah.
According to the source Khalid is scheduled to have an audience with the Sultan today, during which the Tuanku is expected to advise him on several issues....
